Explore the E2 Investor Visa: Your Path to U.S. Business Success

Is the E2 Investor Visa the Right Choice for Your Business Venture?

The E2 Investor Visa allows nationals from treaty countries to invest in and manage businesses in the U.S. without a minimum investment requirement, unlike the EB-5 visa. Your investment must be substantial, ensure financial commitment, and demonstrate the potential for success. While it doesn't grant a Green Card, it offers a pathway to U.S. residency for you and your employees. Contact us for further details and see if the E2 Visa aligns with your business goals.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

What is the E2 Investor Visa?

The E2 Investor Visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows citizens of countries with trade treaties with the United States to invest in an American business and reside in the country to manage that business. Although it does not grant permanent residency, the visa can be renewed as long as the business remains active and meets the requirements.

Who can apply?

Entrepreneurs and investors from countries with trade treaties with the United States, such as Germany, Japan, Canada, the United Kingdom, and others, can apply for the E2 visa. The investor must be willing to invest a substantial amount in a U.S. business and must have control over the operation of the enterprise.

Benefits

The E2 visa allows the investor and their immediate family (spouse and children under 21 years old) to live and work in the United States. The visa can be renewed indefinitely, provided the business continues to operate successfully. The investor’s spouse can also apply for a work authorization, providing more flexibility for the family.
